F921

Description

F921® aboveground storage tanks are manufactured with a double-wall steel design. Standard features include built-in, testable, interstitial monitoring capability and impermeable secondary containment. The F921® delivers uncompromising performance, reliability, service and economy.

Fireguard

Description

FIREGUARD® double-wall fire-protected aboveground storage tank features an inner and outer steel tank with a unique lightweight thermal insulation material that exceeds the UL 2-hour fire test. Insulating material is 75% lighter than concrete, reducing shipping, installation and relocation costs.

ACT-100

Description

Plasteel Elutron

Description

Elutron delivers all the benefits and proven performance of Plasteel Composite double-wall tanks, plus a significant increase in cost efficiency. In 1980, Plasteel tanks were the first steel based underground tanks to be Underwriters Laboratories Inc (UL) tested and listed for external corrosion protection.
Technology

The Plasteel FRP jacket encapsulates the steel primary tank providing a UL Listed and Tested exterior corrosion protection system for the Plasteel Double Wall Elutron® jacketed Tank. The inner primary steel tank is assembled, welded, and tested for tightness. The primary steel tank provides the underground structural performance for the Plasteel Double-Wall Elutron Jacketed Tank.

The aluminum foil stand-off material and outer fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) secondary containment jacket are applied 360 degrees around the inner primary tank and the tank heads, creating an interstitial space. The interstitial space between the primary tank and the secondary containment jacket is designed to provide access to detect a liquid in the interstitial space and containment of the liquid.

The Plasteel Double Wall Elutron jacketed Tank has been UL performance tested per UL Standard 58, External Pressure Test (EPT), Paragraph 18.

There has never been a documented external corrosion failure of any Plasteel Tank.

Hall Tank offers three Plasteel tank technologies: Single Wall, Double Wall, and the industry leading Double Wall Elutron Jacketed Tanks. Each of these technologies offers installation cost savings compared to fiberglass and other non-metallic underground tanks.
Double Wall Elutron® Jacketed Tanks
The Plasteel® Double Wall Elutron® Jacketed Tank is UL Listed and Tested per UL Standard 58 and UL Standard 1746, Part III, Jacketed Tank.

In 1989, the Plasteel® Double Wall Elutron® Jacketed Tank attained the UL Listing for Jacketed Secondary Contained Tank.

Double Wall Composite Tanks
The Plasteel® Double Wall Composite Tank is UL Listed and Tested per UL Standard 58 and UL Standard 1746, Part II, Type I and Type II Secondary Containment.

In 1983, the Plasteel® Double Wall Composite Tank was the first tank to achieve the UL Listing for Composite Secondary Contained Tank.

Single Wall Composite Tanks

The Plasteel® Single Wall Composite Tank is UL Listed and Tested per UL Standards 58 and 1746, Part II.

In 1980, the Plasteel® Single Wall Composite Tank was the first tank to achieve the UL Listing for a Composite Tank.

The pressure piping is factory welded and totally enclosed within the secondary contained, corrosive protected tank structure.
